Vintage Bob Mackie Boutique, from the designer who dressed Cher, Carol Burnett, Diana Ross, Elton John and Dolly Parton. Black silk beaded across every inch, with sequin accents and a jewelled waistband built into the dress rather than added on top. Crew neck, short sleeves, a blouson bodice that falls to the knee. The beading is hand-applied, which is why it catches light in every direction at once.
